Government of Telangana is launching a state-specific SPACE TECH Framework on METAVERSE!

The Indian state of Telangana has now boarded the Metaverse bandwagon with its ambitious Space Tech metaverse project. The state-specific space-tech framework virtual world will be Telangana’s very own hub of technological advancements. It a one of a kind in India (so far) as a one-stop destination for space tech. This would spawn many iterations of virtual worlds by other states too. This also is a step forward to the (a bit) diminishing glory of the state as the IT hub of India.

The launch event is hosted by PartyNite Metaverse. The space-themed virtual world will host key government officials and dignitaries in their virtual avatars. The attendees of the launch event would be able to interact with these virtual avatars in real-time. 50 users will be able to partake in the ceremony. The launch will also include a 3D award ceremony which can later be minted as NFTs.

A senior official of the state’s IT Ministry remarked that Telangana will tap into the opportunities after the central government’s reforms in the space tech domain. This would also encourage private agencies in the domain to enter into partnership with the state government in the advancement of space technology. While India has a commendable position in the space-tech industry, there are many frontiers the nation can pioneer. Now that the race of the world’s first in space and moon is over, we are looking forward to a world where collaborative endeavors will govern missions and projects. With bigwigs like SpaceX and Blue Origin on the leaderboard, India would be looking forward to our very own desi Elon Musk. Maybe some of the dhanna seths like the Ambanis and the Adanis can take the cue.
