How to Check Mobile numbers linked to Your Aadhaar ID.

You can Now Check the mobile numbers linked with your Aadhaar Card. The Department of Telecommunications has launched a new portal.

This new portal will allow the users to check the mobile numbers linked with their Aadhaar. DOT (Department of Telecommunications) launched a portal, Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP).

DOT (Department of Telecommunications) said they developed this website to help subscribers, check the number of mobile connections working in their name, and take necessary action for regularising their additional mobile connections if any. However, the primary responsibility of handling the Customer Acquisition Form (CAF) lies with the service providers.

TAFCOP allows the users to know all the mobile numbers linked with their respective Aadhaar Identification. Currently, It is available only to the users of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Steps to check the mobile numbers registered to your Aadhaar ID:

  1. Visit Telecom Analystics for Fraaud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP) Portal.
  2. Now, Enter your Mobile Number.
  3. Enter the 6-digit OTP received on your Smartphone to Proceed.
  4. After entering the OTP and validating, all the number linked with your Aadhar ID will be displayed.
  5. From the list, users can select and report and block the Mobile numbers which are not in use or not needed.
  6. After selecting the number, select the reason listed below the number.
  7. Now enter the user name as listed on the Aadhaar ID.
  8. Atlast, Click on report and your request will be submitted.

Now your registered mobile number will get an SMS with the Confirmation and tracking ID. You can also check the status of your ticket by entering the “Tracking ID” in the Status/Cancel box.
