The passport booklets are issued by the Regional Passport Office (RPO) in the jurisdiction of which the applicant has resided for at least one year.
The process to reschedule an appointment can be done via telephone or online, but it must be done in person at your nearest RPO office if you are applying for a new passport or if your existing passport has expired and you need to renew it.
Reschedule or cancel your Passport Appointment

If you have any important works on the scheduled date, you can always reschedule it. Remember you’ll have only 3 chances to reschedule.
In order to reschedule or cancel the passport appointment,
- you need to go to the official Passport Seva website and login with credentials.
2. After that, you need to click on “View saved or submitted Applications”.
3. Select the Application and click on “Pay and Schedule Appointment. (don’t worry you don’t need to pay again)
4. Next, click on Reschedule Appointment
5. select the date of your choice and fill in all the details required.
6. Finally, click on “Submit”.
For Cancellation, click on cancel at step-4. That’s it, Very simple to change your appointment.
